A way back to yourself

Body-oriented psychotherapy

Do you know that feeling of being numb inside? As if you were cut off – from your emotions, your body, your inner experience? You manage to carry on somehow – but you can hardly feel yourself anymore. What you need remains unclear. Everything feels flat, empty or simply overwhelming.

Or perhaps it’s exactly the opposite: emotions overwhelm you – too intense, too much, too fast. You try to cope, but anger, grief, fear or shame take over. Regulating your emotions seems impossible, and you feel helpless, exhausted and overwhelmed.

Both states – feeling cut off and feeling overwhelmed – share a common root:
a loss of connection with your feelings. Old patterns, fears or exhaustion prevent us from truly being present.

And that is exactly where my work comes in: reconnecting through the body – with yourself, with your feelings, with your life.

I invite you to explore who you are in a safe space.
A space where you are free to connect with yourself – with your body, your experiences and your whole being. You don’t have to walk this path alone.

What you’ll find here

Therapy as an experience – not just a conversation

My work isn’t just about talking – it’s about experiencing:
change happens through connection – with yourself, your body, and someone who truly sees you.

Together, we’ll work to ensure that you:

  • how to take care when feeling overwhelmed
  • feel your boundaries – and engage more clearly in relationships
  • follow your heart – without guilt or fear
  • heal old wounds – and help you rediscover your strength
  • accept yourself – even with the fear of being seen

I believe that meaningful therapeutic work requires trust, transparency, and respect for your own knowledge of yourself. Rather than assuming I know what is “really” going on, I see therapy as a collaborative process in which your experiences, perspectives, and choices remain central. Questions, feedback, and disagreement are always welcome.

What body therapy means

Your body as a guide

Body-oriented psychotherapy is an invitation to experience yourself as a whole person once again.
After all, our experience is always physical too – stress, anxiety, longing and vitality manifest themselves not only in thoughts, but also in physical sensations.

In my work:

  • you come face to face with what your body has long known
  • at your own pace, in your own way
  • using methods that empower you rather than overwhelm you

My approach

I take a body-oriented, trauma-informed approach and treat your personal history with the utmost respect, using the following methods:

  • AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy)
  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
  • TRE (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises)

What they all have in common is this: your body is not merely a vessel for symptoms – it is a source of guidance, wisdom and transformation.

Courage is not becoming fearless. It is making room for fear while moving toward what matters.
